MOU Signing Ceremony with Myanmar Creative University

On October 8, 2024, Rajamangala University of Technology Lanna (RMUTL), by Office of International Relations , held a signing ceremony for a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Myanmar Creative University, Republic of the Union of Myanmar. The MOU was signed by Prof. Dr. Saw Htay Myint, President of Myanmar Creative University, and Associate Professor Dr. Uthen Kamnarn, Acting President of RMUTL. Witnesses included Dr. Somkiat Saitanoo, Honorary Chancellor of Myanmar Creative University, Assistant Professor Pisit Wimonthanisith, Vice President for Planning, Policy, and Strategy, Assistant Professor Dr. Thitibhorn Phanthachang, Assistant to the President, and Assistant Professor Dr. Surasak Yusawat, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering.

The purpose of this MOU is to organize educational programs and create opportunities for students from Myanmar Creative University to pursue further studies in Thailand, specifically in key engineering fields such as Mechanical Engineering, Mining Engineering, and Civil Engineering, as well as in Business Administration. The programs will follow the 3+1 or 2+2 study model, allowing students to study both in Myanmar and Thailand, either through onsite classes or online learning. This initiative aims to provide opportunities for educational, career, and future academic development. RMUTL is pleased to develop this cooperation, which will be further discussed in joint meetings between faculties and academic programs.
